26th Anniversary American Eagle Silver Dollars, Complete sets 1986-2012, Mint State

American Eagle coins are affordable investments, beautiful collectibles, thoughtful gifts and memorable incentives or rewards. Above all, as legal tender they are the only coins whose weight and purity are guaranteed by the United States Government.

Silver Eagles

Example Silver Eagle Silver has historically been the most affordable precious metal. Since 1986, the United States has minted one-dollar silver coins called "Silver Eagles." Each contains a minimum of one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver. Each Silver Eagle is a work of art, meticulously crafted to the exacting standards of the United States Mint. The design is based on Adolph A. Weinman's 1916 "Walking Liberty" half-dollar, widely considered one of the more beautiful American coins ever minted.

Affordability, Credibility, Beauty - They are the qualities which have made American Eagle Silver Coins the world's best-selling silver coins, with over 207 million mint-state coins sold since 1986.

American Eagle Silver Dollars, Complete sets 1986-2012, Mint State

Silver Eagles are an affordable and enjoyable way to start coin collecting. Silver Eagles are impressive to hold. They are more than an inch and a half in diameter and have a real "weight" to them, a value you can feel. We are offering complete Mint State collections of Silver Eagles, 1986 to 2012. Each collection is presented in a protective, gold lettered, Dansco archival quality album. The albums display both sides of each coin and include space for upcoming issues. With the Eagle program more than 26 years old, some earlier coins are becoming difficult to locate. This is an excellent way to start your collection off complete, as early issues will be even harder to locate in the future.

Open book of Eagles The album will hold 36 coins (1986-2022) and is expandable beyond 2022 by purchasing another 9-coin page which is good through 2031.

Quality

The U.S. Mint has used various surface finishes on this 26-year series of coins. Some years have brilliant luster and other years have a more satin-like or subdued luster.

Our coins are not perfect, certified MS69 or MS70 coins which are very expensive. We do, however, carefully select each and every coin and use only choice coins for our sets.

All coins blend beautifully in the handsome Dansco album.
